I'm really proud of the BIG BOW middle school students who made presentations last week. Each student chose a National Geographic Reader they were interested in, read it and took notes, and then made a poster presentation. There were a wide variety of subjects from tracking wild animals in Africa to cheese rolling races! This week, students will make an outline and write an essay on their presentation topic. Everyone had a great time working on a topic they were interested in and had a great chance to practice their reading, writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
