Every year I wait in anticipation to find out what art exhibits will be held in Nagoya, so I can start planning the BIG BOW Museum Excursion. At the end of last year, I was so happy to see that the Nagoya City Art Museum was going to have a Marc Chagall exhibit. Seth (the assistant teacher) and I went today so we could take notes for the excursion worksheets and we were blown away at how extensive this exhibit was. It is an excellent mix of his paintings, lithographs, woodblock prints, ceramics, and sculptures, featuring some of his most famous paintings.

The BIG BOW Museum Excursion will be on February 11th, Sunday. We are looking forward to sharing this art with our students!
