I'm very proud to announce that there is a new
series out by McGraw Hill called We Can! (written by
Yoko Matsuka and Glenn McDougall) I have been very busy
writing the Teacher's Guides for this series and am looking
forward to introducing it to EFL teachers in Japan. Click
here to view the We
Can! webpage.

Well, I currently do not have any
presentations scheduled for the spring, but I have been busy
writing articles about teaching. If you are a TC SIG member, you
can read all about the panel we had at JALT Junior about English
programs in elementary schools. I also wrote a very practical
article about using "flap books" as a tool for communication on
Barbara Hoskins Sakamoto's cool blog called
Teaching Village.

An easy to understand explanation in
Japanese about how phonics leads to reading. (Great to
give to the parents of your students!)
